Shkufim Atumim

Shkufim Atumim is the lifelong vision of Rabbi Dayan Mordechai Z. Hecht to provide broad-spectrum guidance across the rabbinical field.

It encompasses comprehensive halachic understanding and guidance in Jewish law and psak—halachic rulings. A guidance and support system with grounded development, starting with a comprehensive Torah library and the ability to offer personalized counseling in spiritual, emotional, and practical matters.

The initiative offers guidance in Jewish life cycle care, life coaching, and mentorship, blending wisdom with empathy and compassion.

At its heart, Shkufim Atumim celebrates the beauty and depth of Jewish tradition, helping individuals and communities navigate modern life while rooted in timeless Torah values—goal-oriented Judaism and leadership with a growth mindset, clarity, and connection to Hashem and the richness of our heritage.

What is Shkufim Atumim - Practical Rabbinics?

Under the directorship of Rabbi Dayan Mordechai Z. Hecht, a 7th generation Rav and Dayan serving the NY area his entire life.

The program will include special hands-on sessions from Rabbonim and Dayanim, all active members of the Beis Din and community rabbis in the New York tri-state area.

Students will have access to and be learning from these and numerous other Rabbonim, Dayanim, Shochtim, Mashgichim, Sofrim, and therapists of all walks of Jewish life.

With one goal in mind: to be aware of all that Jewish law and tradition has to offer and to hone our skills to be the best community leaders we can be.
